UK-Based Executive to Spearhead Yapta’s Global Growth
SEATTLE – August 27, 2018 – Yapta, the leading provider of airfare and hotel price tracking services, today announced that Bruce Hanna has joined the organization as the General Manager of Europe, Middle East and Asia, and will lead Yapta’s expansion internationally.
“Bruce has worked in travel for over two decades and he brings with him a strong track record of sales and business development success in the international marketplace,” said James Filsinger, President and CEO of Yapta. “He will play an important role for us as our global customer footprint continues to expand quite rapidly, particularly across the EMEA marketplace. Hanna’s 20-plus year career in travel has included roles in Europe, Asia Pacific, USA, India, Africa and Saudi Arabia. Most recently, Hanna served as Vice President of Commercial Operations, EMEA, at Antenna International, where he delivered new efficiencies and increased profitability to the company’s EMEA business. Earlier in his career, he worked in various market management roles for TravelPort, including serving as the Country Manager for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the VP of Commercial Southern Africa, and the Director of Market Support for Africa. Prior to TravelPort, Hanna was President and CEO of Interglobe Technology Quotient, the leading GDS provider in India.
